Why one star?
We have a one-star rating system for new recipes in our house. If it was good enough to make a second time, it gets a star. If we don’t like it or won’t make it again, no stars and the recipe is deleted forever. That’s it. The recipes on this site all passed the one-star test and are family favorites. Think your recipe is good enough for our one-star test? Send it to us, and maybe it’ll make the cut!
